Our industrial noise assessments are carried out in accordance with the latest revision of British Standard 4142: Methods for Rating Industrial and Commercial Sound, along with other standards relevant to each project. We have experience in liaison with local authorities, residents groups and the Environment Agency.
Previous experience includes:
- Derw Glass, Pembrokeshire: Environmental noise assessment of an extended factory to house a new large state of the art glass tempering machine.
- Gilfach Quarry, Wales: Planning assessment for the proposed reopening of a quarry in Pembrokshire in the context of MPG 11 guidance.
- SAICA Paper: Detailed analysis of large state of the art paper machine, gas fired CHP station and other processes. Monitoring and mitigation strategies over a 3 year period. Liaison with a local residents group and EA to provide impartial evidence.
- VolkerRail: Environmental noise assessment of proposed new railway power distribution substations in the North West.
- Americhem, Manchester: New large-scale air filtration system for a polymer factory.
- Kuehne & Nagle: Extended refrigeration system (addition of outdoor air handling units and condensers) for a drinks logistics company.
